eBay Bucks Offers a Reward for Spending
Just launched, the eBay Bucks program is a brand new rewards program that gives buyers a percentage of the money they spend through the site. Unfortunately, the program is now in the testing phase and is not yet being offered to everyone. They are sending out emails to selected eBay members and inviting them to participate in the testing phase. I actually did not get the email at all but was invited to join the program as soon as I logged into eBay today.
The program gives back 3 percent of the amount spent from May 15 to August 15 of this year in the form of a gift certificate that can be spent on the site. There are some purchases that don’t count, but most regular auctions and fixed price listings do count. I hope that once the testing phase is completed the offer will be extended to every eBay member. If you have been invited to participate, please do. Sign up and get your bucks to spend. If we make the program successful, they may create a larger program that is ongoing and offered to everyone.
