Setting Auction Ending Times
What time your auction begins will determine when it ends unless you change the beginning time. This can have a big impact on how many views your auciton gets in its final hours. And, as any seller knows, that’s when most auctions get their bids. If you’re listing your auction at midnight, think about the ending time. Will it have a lot of viewers at midnight? Probably not as many as it would in the middle of the day.
This doesn’t, however, mean that you have to wait until the next day to list it. Using the Schedule Listing tool to change the date and/or time that the auction begins will make the listing process much more convenient. You can use it to change the date to one up to 30 days in the future and can set the time to any time of day or night. This feature costs .10 to use, but if it adds a few dollars onto the ending bid, it will be well worth it.
