Using PayPal Away From eBay

Published by beakerwriter at 7:18 am under Uncategorized Edit This

PayPal is owned by eBay and is mainly known for its eBay integration. But, there are an increasing number of stores that take it. PayPal integration is becoming a cornerstone of paying online. That means that it’s not only easier to buy items online, it’s easier to sell them.

PayPal integrates so well with sites and is made so user friendly that setting up an independent site that accepts PayPal is easy. Many people use the site’s merchant services to create shopping carts or individual payment buttons. This enables merchants to sell anything anywhere. Items can be sold from their own sites or even directly from blogs. To take a look at how it works, go through the Merchant Services tab to see how easy it is to enable a site with PayPal payments. Everything is spelled out- carts, buttons, invoicing and even gift certificates.

PayPal is my bank of choice. As a freelancer it allows me to work for any client who has a paypal account because there’s no currency issues. You can send invoices, make payments, send reminders, and either use the money to pay for goods you buy through PayPal, or transfer the money to the bank. I think the US even has a pre-paid bank card system so you can take money from your PayPal using some kind of credit/debit card. Yes there’s charges but next the traditional bank charges associated with depositing a check, these pale into insignificance. PayPal is the international finance king as far as I’m concerned!

Yes, it’s very easy to use but it’s also hideously expensive.
