eBay Selling

The annual eBay Live event begins today in Chicago. The event attracts PowerSellers who want to network and learn how to grow their businesses and increase profits. New sellers come for the beginners’ classes on selling techniques. Former CEO Meg Whitman came to show off her rock-hard hairdo. Since stepping down as CEO, I haven’t heard whether she will be at this year’s event. I do expect the new CEO, John Donahoe, to make some type of dramatic appearance to introduce himself to the hardcore eBay community.

In year’s past there have been protests outside and other colorful happenings. Here’s hoping that this year’s event won’t be too boring.
